What a Magical Weekend!

On Saturday we attended David's 4th Birthday at a park near our house. David is my friend Jessica's son, and a friend of Ryder's. We had such a great time. It was a Buzz Lightyear themed party, and Ryder loved it. They had a huge Buzz bounce house, the pool was inviting, and lots of fun toys and games for the children.

On Monday we made our first trip with Ryder to Disneyland. It was every bit as amazing as I thought it would be. The weather was a bit hot for us, but we hung in there and hit almost everything we wanted to. We started at 9am and left at 6:30pm because we were all pretty exhausted by that time. The day just isn't long enough to do everything in one day, there is still so much we wanted to do. We did make it on the Astro Blaster, Rocket Ships, Autopia, Small World, Pluto's Playhouse, Micky's House, had lunch at the Golden Horseshoe...yum, Pirates of the Caribbean (this scared Ryder a bit due to the dark and the couple drops in the beginning), Jungle Cruise, The Enchanted Tiki Room, we ran into my cousins and their children, then let the children run around a bit, and went together to Peter Pan, and the Carousel to finish off our day. Ryder was in awe of everything. He was so content on every ride, just taking in his surroundings. His favorites were the Carousel and the Tiki Room. Cant wait to see what his favorites will be next time. We are already talking about going back in November or December.
